Happython-2018 : Innovation-In-Action

Welcome to the “Innovation-In-Action” program!

In an environment where IT is the lifeblood of an organization, professionals who can balance commercial acumen with technological expertise are a prized asset.  In order to stay relevant in the era of automation, it will be key for one to be innovative and cutting edge.  We, at AAIway, have started a learning program called “Innovation-In-Action” to mentor students in technologies such as Mobile, Cloud, Internet of Things, Blockchain, and Cognitive computing.

I am delighted you are joining us as a team member. “Innovation-In-Action” has been developed for you to gain practical training and hands-on real-world experience that will help you meet your educational goals and prepare you for a professional career. 

This program will help you to:

• Polish skills for developing computer programs for a real life use case using cutting edge technologies.
• Use latest techniques such as design thinking, pair programming etc. for software development.
• Get the guidance from mentors who have industry experience.
• Earn a certificate for completing your assignment.

The enclosed information is designed to serve as an introduction to the program, as well as a resource to help you make a smooth transition into your new role. 

Program Duration	12 weeks
Local supervisor	A local supervisor will be assigned to you from your institute, who will be responsible for your work log that includes daily hours, activities, assignments, responsibilities, and learning opportunities. You will follow all the processes and protocols laid out for the program. The local supervisor will help you with any questions you may have about the program.
Devices and platform	You will bring your own device (s) for the development and testing of the programs. Where applicable, we will provide the application development platform.
Voluntary nature of the program	Your participation is voluntary and can be terminated by any side at any time during the program.
Hours of work	Flexi hours, remote/work from home accepted
Non-remunerative learning	You will not receive any remuneration or compensation for the work performed during the program.
Professional behavior	We expect you to behave in the most courteous and professional manner which includes timely submission of assignments, on-time participation on conference calls, etc.
Mentors	You will be assigned one or more mentors depending upon the complexity of the program to help you with the most innovative solutions, business use cases, and technologies. You will be responsible for optimizing the time spent with the mentors.
FIT	We would like you to be FIT (Fun, Inquisitive, Trustworthy) for a great learning experience with us.
